Make up and mistakes
Applying your Make Up in a uniform order is important and the order to apply it on a nice clean oil and dirt free face is this. Cheeks, chin, nose, forehead, lips and lastly eyes. Eyes are the first thing people look at and because first impressions count the most, your eyes are what will be noticed first and if you have the balance wrong between your make up and eyes, you'll leave the wrong impression and your looks will be judged on that impression.
Simple tips like curl your eye lashes when you come out of the shower, when they are still warm and pliable, this will prevent your eye lashes from breaking and make the curl more profound. look in the Beauty & Make UP section for a more indepth list of does and don'ts, Buy a water resistent Mascara, they cost a little extra, but we are emotional creatures and the weather is not always kind, and sooner or later, we'll cry or laugh so much our eye's water, or it'll rain, and when your Mascara runs, you'll look like any other Goth on the plannet without even making an effort.
Make Up Tools, you have all heard daddy telling your brother, "how many times have i told you, use the right tool for the job". Well the same goes for Make Up, using good quality blusher with a milk brush, will give your face the same effect as it does when the pie comes out of the oven (full of cracks) is that how you want to look for a date? I dont think so. You pay for what you get, why spend more? Well the results you get with the extra quality is what matters, and good quality Make Up tools last a long time if they are cared for and looked after.
Foundation, well the number one mistake made with Make Up is the Foundation, It's a thin layer that fills any minor imprefections in our skin, and provides a base for the rest of our Make Up. Foundation will not hide a zit that looks like Mount Vesuvius about to errupt and cover pompii. No matter how much you apply, you'll just make things look worse, or at best, you'll look like Lilly Savage (a UK drag queen). Remember look at the Beauty & Make UP section for a more indepth.
